@Rachevadda While the KSK was modeled after 1st SFOD-D and the Special Air Service, they have several platoons dedicated to different roles, 3rd platoon is dedicated to amphibious operations and all KSK trainees are trained in amphibious operations in San Diego. Also, these days Navy SEALs (that's Sea AIR LAND) aren't necessarily combat divers and more of just all around bad asses, so it's not too far of a stretch to say the KSK is like them.

nein, es sind nur etwa 400, davon sind etwa die Hälfte combat-ready. Mein Vater ist Oberstleutnant bei der Bw und er hat mir versichert, dass es einfach nicht genug geeignete Bewerber gibt. Selbst 500 hat es nie gegeben, somit sind 1000 ein Wunschtraum...

Wäre toll wenn es so wäre.
Die meisten sind leider in der Versorgungseinheit (+Stab).
Es ist von daher sehr Wage zu behaupten das es ca. 600 sind, denn es sind eher deutlich weniger.

Das stimmt nicht ganz, man weiß nur nicht, wie das KSK strukturiert ist und wie viel man das KSK genau hat.

no thats wrong, the german ksk is a special force like the american 1st SFOD-D(also known as Delta Force)
comparable to the navy seals are the german Kampfschwimmer, they are the combat divers in the Bunderswehr

richtig das ksk umfast 1100 leute im mom. davon sind ca. 600 in der "einheit" andere sind ausbilder etc......... aber es soll auf 1300 vllt auch 1400 aufgestockt werden und die 200 zusätzlichen männder sollen in die kampfeinheit
