Assassin's Creed 3 American Revolutionary War (Not Assassin's Creed Revelations)

An interesting find on the Assassin's Creed Website. Some information I found today that I have not seen talked about on the internet before. Contributing to the idea of Assassin's Creed 3 be based around the American Revolutionary War.

UPDATE: *SPOILERS*
I have just recently finished the Story Mode of ACR and I noticed two small details while playing the game. *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* At one point of time, I believe in either sequence 1, 2, or 3 when Ezio is talking to Sofia they start talking about Christopher Columbus and finding "another sea" otherwise known as America. I don't see why they would include that if it didn't mean anything. Something else I found was at the end when that guy with the beard was talking to Desmond near the end of the game the camera zoomed in on the Earth it zoomed in on a highlighted part of America (Colonial America) I have seen this same highlighted part of America at the end of Assassin's Creed 1 (I have just replayed the entire game about a week ago to get all the achievements before revelations) Ntm it shows once more in one of Altairs Memories. I will try to update more as I get all of the achievements. *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS*

UPDATE 2: *SPOILERS regarding Desmond's sequences on assassin's creed revelations*

Hello, I have just finished all 5 of Desmond's Sequences and notice a one major thing while looking out some of the windows during all of the sequences, especially sequence 5. So at the end you are basically at the place you were in the beginning of AC1. Now as I was looking out of the windows here I noticed the city. Now, I have played the 1st game recently and noticed a difference from ACR. I was examining a little closer and noticed the architecture looked very similar to colonial New York. (I'll put links to pictures of some colonial buildings from New York for reference) I double checked by playing AC1 and looking out of the windows to see if there actually was a difference and there was. AC1 had tall buildings unlike ACR which had buildings that were almost level to the windows.

Why are people listing off all these different locations!? AC3 will be in MODERN TIMES, with DESMOND! The story doesn't leave room for another ancestor. When Desmond woke up, he knew the location of the grand temple, the location of Altair's apple, and the first thing he said was "I know what we have to do.". Considering Jupiter said he would give him all the answers, what would be the point of another ancestor. Since this is the last one for the main story, there might be side games...

Rather it be in egypt or greece.

The scorpian king is set on an assassin in egypt and the sand would provide new assassination techniques and the pyramids great tombs to explore. Greece has lots of temples, i imagine it would be similar to italy but a bit more fancy. America would be boring but could see it coming! As long as its more than 12 sequences dont care!

@omgitsbenandaaron Nevermind! i found the real truth the next series is going to be Assassins creed:The Fall it's during the russian empire in 1888.there's a patron picture of him in revelation.he has a blonde mustache and it's the next character in the next assassins creed game it's proven now for this development. check it out AC:the fall

in ac 2, there was a "the truth" puzzle where you had to find the piece of eden. One of the pictures was of george washington, and he was secretly holding a piece of eden. this may have led to the revolutionary war setting
