  • thanks for posting

  • THAT IS FLIPPIN' AWESOME!!!!

  • When you live in alaska, ( I used to live in soldotna) you pretty much get used to have the sun up like that.

  • i saw the midnight sun too. it's cool

  • i dunno if this was quite at midnight... but even if it was i'm sure it wasn't SOLAR midnight (which means that the sun is on the other side of the earth directly from your location) - note that with the width of timezones solar midnight can easily deviate from 0:00 or 12:00 am - and the Kenai Peninsula is only at 60.3*N latitude so it doesn't quite have 24 hours of sunlight in one day

  • I bet winter is extremely bitter there. In winter, even at noon, the sun doesn't rise!

  • I'm from soldotna and i live in Hawaii, thanks for proving it for everyone

  • dude! I know I'm from soldotna and I live in arizona now, and people dont belive me. I just moved here like a month ago and I tell people all of the time" you guys actually get dark skies at night, pretty lucky!

  • the internet is great for this! no need to wait for travel report of local television. :) unbeliveable...

how can you sleep with 24 hours sun a day?

  • lol it's awesome awesome
