So, I gotta ask an obvious question. Why in hell are they going to Abu Babai? If it can't be done safely, then it shouldn't be done. Breaking the leg up just dilutes the integrity of the race - after all, no one will have sailed around the world if they all rode half of one leg. Sounds like the Arabs bought their way into this race, like they do everything else.
