AIKIDO is the missing link in MMA. I pity the foes of the athlete who decides, after MMA training, to learn Aikido.
This fills the gap between wrestling and jujitsu.
-
just to clarify, in virtually any place of any aikido technique it can effectively be changed to break, get nice strikes, but thats not the idea of the art, but the art is good, i mean, besides fakes or watewvr, wierd shit out there

true u whoud think that the would get it threw his head stop attacking the ninja after he hit the ground like 20 time XD
-
LOL @ this choreographed BS. I would wreck him, no joke.
-
NINJA !

@daryxvary Yep all the moves with the exception of few, throw the aggressor off balance & force them to the ground. There are VERY few hitting moves. All the moves basically get you down, rather than inflict intentional damage. The only intentional damage that'll occur is if the aggressor keeps attacking &likes the feel of the pavement breaking their fall lol.
& to the video what the heck!?!?! I still see the ninja against that black wall...his "art of stealth" is not so stealthy XD... haha
That's why it's categorized as a self-defense martial art. It means YOU'RE not the one starting the fight, and trying to avoid it if anything. But if someone is stupid enough to insist on kicking your butt, he or she will be left with a few broken bones.
This martial art isn't about trying to act macho and powerful. It's about humility.

You would think that dude would get the idea: stop attacking the ninja. Still, gotta admire his persistence.
