Era en 1963.

All alone am I ever since your goodbye
All alone with just a beat of my heart
People all around but I don't hear a sound
Just the lonely beating of my heart

No use in holding other hands
For I'd be holding only emptiness
No use in kissing other lips
For I'd be thinking just of your caress

All alone am I ever since your goodbye
All alone with just a beat of my heart
People all around but I don't hear a sound
Just the lonely beating of my heart

No other voice can say the words
My heart must hear to ever sing again
The words you used to whisper low
No other love can ever bring again.

All alone am I ever since your goodbye
All alone with just a beat of my heart
People all around but I don't hear a sound
Just the lonely beating of my heart

  • great track

  • sad shit

  • Beautiful song

  • This brings back so many memories from Long Beach Ca, in the 1960's. When Venus and I were the most beautiful Queens in Long Beach. We all (All the queens) used to lip sync Timi Yuro in the bars to the jukebox. What unbelievable and fun memories. I wonder what happened to so many of those original queens? If you know, write a comment.

  • I just love her !

  • I think the greatet think about Timi is the passion she brings into her singing. May she live in eternity.

  • I agree. I can't choose between the two. Both are among my favourites.

  • The music is by a one of the most loved Greek composers of the second half of the previous century Manos Hadjidakis. I love Timi Yuros voice but I think the english version suited Brenda Lees voice better

  • Loved it by Brenda and Timi is great

  • Used to listen to this song on a useless old tape player in Blackpool in the early 80's and was under the misapprehension that it was a man singing!! Tremendous voice, great song.
