  • Arnel CAN sing this song. Deen sings it to conserve Arnels vocal chords for the remaining songs and to give him a break. Neal needs Arnel to keep singing for another 10 years.

  • @TheAmazingUploader What do you expect? I doubt the recording device which was used to make this recording employed top of the line Neuman mics, Rupert Neve quality mic pres, high end high resolution A/D D/A converters let alone optimal mic positioning to capture the house mix. I also doubt that the person who recorded this audio had direct analog or digital outs from the Midas House console or access to to the main stage snake. I doubt that Bob Ludwig mastered it as well. It is what it is

  • Deen Castronovo should be lead vocals for Journey .

  • @vegastyphoon It is funny that the drummer has to play and sing this at the same time because their lead singer can't sing it. That is so ironic!

  • GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYERS

  • ...that's because Arnel can't hit these notes. Only Deen and Steve can do it.

  • Well, the quality of the recording pretty much sucks and being a music producer like I am, I know that the better quality of all elements in a song, the better it makes everything sound. If the recording doesn't do the music justice then everything fails because they don't hit that point of excellence which makes it complete perfection. This recording barely has any instruments than bass, drums and vocals. The guitar just disappears in the sticky oatmeal of bad sound quality.

  • @punkchickkool That does sound a lot like Steve.

  • He does a good job, he's not Steve, but then again no one can sing it like him.

  • No one can ever close to Steve Perry when he performed this one! Live in Houston! Steve Perry is one of a kind and can't be replaced!
