Hmmm, so according to your theory, if shaving with a straight razor ages the face quicker, why do people usually think I'm 15 years younger than I actually am? Yes, I can grow a badass beard as you mentioned, and I have in the past, but I choose to be clean shaven at present. The Straight Razor method of shaving works best for me, and many other Gents around the world.

I actually have the same situation as you and i can tell you from experience that the straight razor is much easier around a mustache and goatee. you get a barber style perfect line everytime. hope this helped

I would to try this system but I have a mustache and goatee. It seems like it would be difficult to navigate around them. What do you think?

I haven't used soap yet, just shaving cream but I want to try shave soap now cause cream doesn't really do much for me. I get pretty much the same results using just water...

add more water, and if it's still too dry, then rinse it off and re-lather, a good quality cream should retain it's slickness for some time, you are looking for that 'whipped cream' or 'meringue' consistency.
