I've wanted to do a Speaks the Nightbird video for a while, but I couldn't find any movies that I could use. When I saw this one, I thought of using it to tell the story of one of the secondary characters, and this video was born.
Years ago, before he ever met the protagonist of STP, Isaac Woodward was an up-and-coming lawyer in England. However, after his son died of the plague, his personal and professional relationships fell apart, his wife left him and ended up prostituting herself, and his life was ruined. The sepia clips are his memories of his son in happier times.
