This building is so high that the temperature will be 6 degrees Celcius cooler at the top than at the bottom! And the water will boil at a temperature 3 degree cooler at the top compared to the bottom! If someone wants to suicide jump from this building, he would have to fall for 18 seconds before hitting the ground!!!

To have gone to all that trouble, only to be 112m short of being the first kilometer high building. Impressive building, but also a bit of a shame.

@patmisa I implied that these kinds of projects are what supports the Arabs financially. If you want to talk about the captial market in the middle east, then yeah, it centers around the extraction of oil. But then you might as well say that money in general is the reason why that tower is there. I don't know how you can compare Africa if not unless comparing gdp statuses.

Projects like this really run the economy. Its really dumb when people say that these Arabs are only supported financially because of oil. Simply amazing.
