I have started to think this presidential election is "Smoke & Mirror's". The People do not elect the president. It is the vote's from the Electorial College that determine our next president. I would not be surprised IF this "voting system" is set up to make The People think they actually are electing the president, when the president has already been determined. Knowdedge is "power" Sheeple. Love,Light,Peace or else.

I'm getting kinda sick of uttering the word "unconstitutional". It hardly matters anymore because 1) most people either don't know or don't care if the federal gov't acts illegally, and 2) what can be done about it?

The federal courts could act to stop Paulson and Fed, but they won't. That leaves the states - and the states have never seemed more impotent. There is no check on federal power. It is a rogue gov't which does whatever the hell it pleases.

Rick is right. My sister and brother in law, never worked, filed for bankupsy twice withing last 15 years, never paid for their taxes, defrauded their clients. 2005-6 bougth two houses , no down payment , pull out hundred of thousand in loans and now they will be bail out . This will destroy the credibility of binding contracts. wich affects the credibility of all the financial instintutions.

vote strike sounds great. I think the whole system would be better if we got rid of most of the "Yea" voters, the president in general, kept just a few administrators and voted for any national issues on our own. Skip the politicians, they're panhandling middlemen and they're wasting the money on government payroll that should go to veterans.

What are we going to do? what can we do? after 8 years of a downward spiral and so many people I know who are "ok" with are canidates this year, I have personally lost all faith in my power as an american citizen. The only people who care are thoes directly affected. I feel the same way you do, and I'm mad as hell at the adminsitation who brought us to this point.
