@IronWeaselFan Dude, I know what punk is, and i got all albums of Clash and Ramones on CD. I use to listen to Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat,Reagan Youth, and many other awesome punk bands. I go to every fuckin underground punk gig near the city I live in.

So, let's talk about GD again: Green Day have always been an awesome band and with American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown they released two awesome political punk albums. they developed but they still are punk!

C'mon, not Avril Lavigne and Green Day! I used to like Avril when I was younger, but Green Day and Avril are incomparible. I'm pretty sure that when Billie wrote this song he wasn't thinking of Avril.
