@DemonfireNinja ive tried doing what you said and when i try putting the movie into movie maker the file goes corrupted and shit and then it says double click to repair it so i do and then only option it gives me is to cancel the project -_- so movie maker for me is not the easiest way to do things.

It is so simple, just open the MKV in windows live movie maker, then save it as a wmv file, from there you can use any basic converter to make it whatever file format you want.

@ukxbeeston Well I haven't quite used it yet but I need something to convert my mkv into something that would play on my 360 & ps3 so I used Videora 360 converter and it converted the file of a 23+ min file in 25 minutes.
