@TeenageWildlife True, but even Bowie himself looks back rather embarrassing on all that rather amateurish glam posturing.Unlike a lot of other third rate 'glam' hopefuls,this luckily get's rescued by this man's amazing talent.

I love this guy! He was one of few who had the guts to be himself on stage. I resent that man calling him a freak, he was an artist. Unfortunately the Bowie we all knew and loved has had his teeth straightened and that bothers the shit out of me. Oh well, I still love ya David!

david came totally out of left-field and was playing with the sexual politics of that era, so it's natural that your typical old-school british journalist is going to speak as if he was freakish and over-the-top. no one had seen anything like it before.

@JohnnySton3r Gitanes. then I think it was Marlboro Reds sometime in the late 80s, and finally Marlboro Lights up until about 2002 when he quit smoking.
