  • The wholie trinity of music. Louie Louie, Double Shot, Farmer John. Most important songs ever.

  • Responding to XXXXLOWRIDERXXXXX, the movie animal house was set in 1962 in a New England college. Double Shot of My Babys Love is a 1966 single hit, therefore they could not use the song, but would have been great.

  • Damn! this song ALWAYS makes me feel good!

  • Yep, my 17 year old girl in the spring of 1966 would give me a double shot and became my wife in late in December. Still together after all these years. Ahhh to relive those years of the 60's and 70's.

  • Its a good thing for me they don't bottle this stuff..when my heart begins to fly like a dove..when "I take a double shot of my baby's love"...

  • Greasegun49 God Bless you dear! I have Rhuematoid arthritis and i have twisted toes and bad back and hips! But when i played this song the one night i was up and dancing even though it hurt like heck! Its not only good for rhuematism and bad backs but for menopause too!!! Hahahhahahah!

  • This tune never gets old. Still think of Bruce Willis in the tv show Moonlighting singing this after finally made love to Cybill Shepard (YOW) and start cracking up.

  • baby Roses -- your spirit is still very much alive :*)

  • @babyRoses7 I was born in '49. And I'm pretty banged up and in constant pain...However...my family has learned that the easiest and quickest way to get me up and moving about is to crank this goodie to the max. It's a pity they don't bottle this stuff, eh? Too bad I can't dance. I try, but, remember Quasimodo? It's that way. Keep rockin'!
