What a magical moment haveing the Boston Pops back you up

I remember watching them on PBS an Evening at Pops. I was 14 but I remember the show they performed Rout 66 and Candy...Don't remember seeing this song back then but I'm glad to see it now. I wish I could see the full performance of that PBS program but I haven't been able to find it.

@Wolfsky9 Nicely said; incomparable. Just the right word.

so sweet!

THIS is my favorite jazz vocal group....their harmonies are unmatched by any other singing group out there....IF today's 'artists' using the term veeeeeerrrrry loosely, here, could remotely come close to being in the same 'city that holds the musical ballpark' the manhattan transfer is in, then good music would be heard on the radio again!!! Just, excellent!!!!

Great great job O.M.G ....this voices sounds like a choir with 100.singer!

Beautiful, so glad I found this one. Alan Paul looks like a young Pierce Brosnan.
I love this video. What an incredible sound they had and still have, perfect harmony.
Manhattan Transfer are like a cool summer breeze, romantic and incredibly sensuous.

Yeah, John Williams conducted the Pops for most of the 80s and 90s.
-
Is that John Williams conducting the orchestra?

I love this song...saw them do it live this year. They are still as awesome as ever!
Loved Manhattan Transfer. The first time I ever saw them was on the Mike Douglas Show.
They have a subtle sensual quality about them.
So smooth and inviting!
Great post!!!
Many thanks for that!
