Rove milked terror for all he could - the politics of fear was easy to sell with the ignorant masses. It got Lord Mush a second term. Kerry didn't help himself in the 2004 campaign when he said he could fight the Iraq war better.

Its ironic. If US & else want to stop terrorism then gtfo from middle east & taking their oil. They have no reason to do terrorism enymore since
A.US & else is out from imiddle east (accept UN troops etc)
B.They got theil oil back.

Because after the Civil Rights movement the Republicans adopted a Southern strategy to win over the disgruntled racist dixiecrats. Democrats shunned these people while the Republicans embraced them.

i wasn't a fan of john kerry during 2004 election, i don't consider him a flip floper but i think the democrats had better prospects to win the 2004 election.

Do agree with your point though. Targeted assasinations and secret detention are a valid stratergy when dealing with the very highest level. However i think the point that was trying to be made by TYTs is that broad scale millitary invasions dont work.

Crime fighting approach didn't work in the 90's.They didn't want to extradite Obama from Sudan because they didn't have an indictable offense;as long as they get the right guys,assassinations and secret prisons are fine by me. These wackos are too hot to nuke us to play by straight rules.

If you look back to the 1950's these oil countries were still riding camels, they are rich because of us, but they hate us. When the oil is gone they will be riding their camels again because they don't make anything, they simply exist off the oil profits.

The last 4 years of the Iraq war have been a total waste!! In 2003 the military leaders said we needed a surge. Took the Bushies 4 years to finally take that advice. Now John Kerry's advice from 4 years ago is finally being talked about in the Bush Administration.
And ya'll seriously want 4 years of McCain? The Republicans are completely incompetant with everything. The economy, nation building, illegal wars, enforcing the Constitution, etc.
