Actually I'm a righty -- just worked better for me to hold the camera with and do the job with my left hand.There was one point in there where I had to switch to right -- much easier that way!

Thank you so much for saving me 600 dollars. The hardest part is getting the clip back on correctly. I had to do the right side of my 07 prius which is a little harder because the fuse box is in the way. I just took the cover off the fuse box to open the plastic valve. 50 dollars for the bulb on amazon. Dealership wanted 150 for the bulb and 200 to install. Very Very helpful video.

Thanks Jay, was able to change my passenger side HID 2008 package #6 Prius just like you showed us. Amazing you can do this with one hand while filming and talking, that is what inspired me, if you can do this one-handed then pretty much anyone should be able to. Only took me 15 min. As I was testing the passenger side the driver side blinked out. BTW: my passenger side started going out intermittently at about 55K miles, and now my driver side started blinking at 64K miles.

So it took me way longer than 10 minutes, but mostly because I kept getting frustrated, and had to stop....but, I did it!! I feel like a car goddess now :-)

I followed this video and changed the passenger side bulb, then a year later changed the driver side bulb on our 2008 Prius. The driver side did not require removing any shields, though I did pop off the fuse box cover. It was very hard to unscrew the access cover, but after that it went fine, no tools required. My hands are about average size, and were a tight fit.

this was so awesome i spent an hour thinking about what would happen if i needed this done and the forums said it would be like $800 - $1000 but look at this! this is fantastic. Thank you so much, now if i only knew how to buy head lights because i want to change to bright blue head lights IDK the name

Thank you so much for the video. I actually just changed both the bulbs on my prius. What just helped me place the new bulbs in was by seeing through the hole through the front cover of the headlights. That way I knew exactly where the tip of the bulb was, and avoid touching/ scraping it.

Thank you so much for this video. It worked just perfect for me.

I just changed the bulb in a 2009. The only difference was the connection on the bulb just pulled right of the bulb.It was a three prong connection like the older headlight connections from years ago.The little wire clip was a bit of a challenge to get back like it should be. Many many thanks to you Sir.
