  • ???? NOB= SPINDLE! LOWER SUSPENSION ARM= LOWER "A" ARM. AN THE WAY YOU SAID TO DO THE LOWERING ON THE REAR...?? IS WAY WRONG !!! CUT THE AXLE FROM THE SPRING, AN ADD A PEACE OF PLASTIC ABOUT 1/8 " THICK BETWEEN THE SPRING AN AXLE . AXLE, LOWERING BLOCK AN THE SPRING, IN THAT ORDER. US "OLD GUYS" WHO DO THE "KUSTOMS" (FROM THE 50's ) CALL THESE "LOWERING BLOCKS". THAT'S THE RIGHT WAY TO DO IT !! YOU CAN ALL SO "C" OR "Z" THE FRAME. !!!

  • @deadlyfingers1 Sorry guys I had a brain fart while making the video.I do know the proper name for it all, just on camera when your trying to remember everything you want to say, you forget some things. I actually didn't intend this video to be the realistic way of lowering. I had a few people ask me if there was a quick way of lowering your model so this is what I came up with. Most people aren't building models for contests, they build them to sit on their shelves at home.

  • Great video tip. Before I forget...I want to give you some credit on another one of your tips I used. I was the soldering wire for part of the exhaust on my contest car. After I had cut up the pipes to use the glass-packs...I was stumped on finishing the exhaust until I remembered your modeling on the cheap video. After that, the car kind of just came together. So, some credit and kudos go to you for doing these how to videos. Thanks Paul!

  • @70judgeman Thanks man and I'm glad you were able to use the tip. That soldering wire is great for a lot of different stuff.

  • Congrat on the little one love your vids got a ? 4 u what do u use for plug wires

  • @TheNeo519 Thanks very much! I get my plug wires from my local hobby shop. They sell plug wire kits there. You can also order them online. Check out scaledreams website.

  • @pturley84 OR....YOU CAN GO TO THE "CRAFT SECTION" OF YOUR HOBBY SHOP, AN GET SOME COLORED 'BEADING WIRE. THIS COMES IN A PACK OF ABOUT 6 "ROLLS" OF DIFFERENT COLORS. BLACK,RED,BLUE,ORANGE, YELLOW,GOLD, SILVER,??? AND...EACH "ROLL" IS 3 FT. LONG !!! AN THE WHOLE THING, ALL 6 "ROLLS" COST ABOUT THE SAME PRICE AS "OUR" ENGINE WIRE !!!! $7.50 !!!!

  • That "suspension arm" is a lower control arm, and that "knob that sticks out" is a spindle. Just for future reference lol

btw... the mexicans do it better and cleaner lol

  • Sweet video how to vids. Are great
