Right, it was Jack Clark who said "Back to Chuck Barris and the Gong Show", of course, when GSN aired this episode a few years back, the audition plug was omitted.

This was from the fall of 1977 - Johnny Jacobs had missed several months worth of shows and the fill in announcer was Jack Clark. Johnny did do a post disclaimer.
