altogether good press conference, some nice stories and well spoken ladies. i think republicans should emphasize the point that sometimes we gotta pay for something to be good, and because we have a capitalistic health care system we get better health outcomes. and fundamentally democrats want a single payer, and republicans want to make people afford to pay for private insurance

So in their logic, the less you have to read, the better it is for you? Also, these Representatives say that private insurance will be outlawed It will not, but it will be regulated. In fact, the bill envisions a wide variety of private policies being offered to the public through a new national health insurance exchange resembling the Federal Employee Health Benefits plan, which makes 269 different private plans in total available to federal workers, including members of Congress.
