  • This was the flip side of Ballad Of The Green Berets. Speaking strictly in terms of music, this is the better track. Catchy arrangement with great pizzicato strings. Barry Sadler was quite the competent songwriter. A shame that he died so young.

  • my parents bought this album when it first came out. I was only 5 years old but I played this complete continuouly on one of those old stereo console. God I miss thoses child hood years.
