To put it plainly, some people are afraid to think. It's easier to watch Ray J try to find "love" than it is to deal with personal hang ups. Tyler Perry's Minstrel shows are directed toward those who don't want to evolve.

you must be under 10 years old. "Stereotyping is funny??" Go watch those old movies where black people were being stereotyped then. Let me know if its still funny.

Tyler wants to make money, he doesn't want to be responsible. It's obvious. If he had any sense of history, he wouldn't be doing what he's doing.

Keenan and Kel were coons too. They studied Martin Lawrence's worst points and made a career out of it. why do you think they're not doing anything right now?

It's regression. When MC Hammer danced for chicken, he was breaking new ground, business wise. What would it look like if you saw everyone of your favorite artists dancing for chicken nowadays. It would seem out of place and redundant. You would expect growth.
Bait? That should say alot about those church's that attend these minstrel shows. The term "hater" is dismissive. Please be responsible enough to articulate what you really mean.

I don't know... I'm not a big Tyler Perry fan but I am happy and proud of his success. I really like spike because he is more socially and politically Conscious with his films, and since spike's films stir up the mind by addressing real hard hitting issues they don't give him the press that tyler gets. I like them both and I am proud of both of them but I think spikes films are a lot more serious than tyler's.
