An animated Music Video for Cake's "The Distance".
Cool song backdropping one of the most action-packed animes around: Macross Plus. The lyrics somewhat follows the events in the clip.

Only good AMV in existence. But it is VERY good.

The thing is, this hits on both literal and deep thematic similarities between the song and the movie. The literal associations made about 'flags go up' or 'plotting a course' etc would be trite, but the song's lyrics describe the conflict of Macross Plus' three main characters very well.
