  • Beauriful program!

  • @dramamamaof2 MANY reports of him being downright rude to fans, on a number of occasions. But he can be a beautiful skater.

  • @formersk8ter What?!

  • @elenaptrear Too bad he's a dickhead in person.

  • Single favorite singles program ever...

  • What can I say? Magnificent, Superb, Awesome...there is beauty beyond words in his skating and interpretation of the music. ..and as others have said he is so underated!

  • I had mixed feelings when I heard PW was going to skate to "Schindler's List" that year, but this is a reserved, respectful and quietly dignified tribute to the subject. PW's line, flow and edge quality were always superb... this program proves it. Very moving, very emotional.

  • I dislike cheap emotional manipulation. But by minute 4 when he leads into that spread eagle, he has somehow unfolded all the terror, beauty, sorrow of all humanity; somehow, he has accomplished this, as Picasso did with Guernica. His art pours into souls. NO OTHER skating program has ever done that. I am rambling, but so grateful.

He is unique. Thank you Paul.

Boy y-t makes it hard to post long thoughts.

  • P4/ There is a moment toward the end of SL about 4 mins in, THE spread eagle and because of every move before it and his ability to make that spread eagle so perfect and emotional, I, cynical and critical as anyone I know, am in tears.

  • P3

(though she still has some work to do in refining her art, and for that she should turn to Paul, to learn the perfection and speed of his spins, footwork, his breathtaking spread-eagles. Well, just about every single move he does on the ice is a work of art and I wish she would watch his compositions every single day).
