The Beatles - Take This Hammer (Twickenham Rehearsals - Day 9)

Twickenham Film Studios, 14th January 1969. An old Traditional song, in which John takes the lead vocals. George was not present on this day because he left the group four days before. A few years after these sessions, on 28th March 1974, Lennon and McCartney performed the song together as a studio jam session with other artists, like Harry Nillson and Stevie Wonder. The recording was included in the bootleg "A Toot And A Snore in '74", released in 1992.
