I tried this and it works great! My only question is that since it is a Jap Movie Event Arceus, the event in HG/SS won't trigger because I'm using a NA Game...? I figure it'd work with the Jap HG/SS, but will it work with the NA game as well?

yes it will work with the NA version, i used a jap Shaymin the get the flower, so i'm 100% sure it will work
