Em uma pequena cidade perto de Lyon na França, um compositor se sensibiliza com a tragédia do grande terremoto no Japão, e começa a compor uma música. No Brasil, a florada da cerejeira no começo do inverno em Petrópolis -- cidade histórica da Região Serrana do estado do Rio de Janeiro, inspira uma dupla de cineastas a transformar a flor símbolo do Japão numa homenagem ao povo japonês, algo que eles idealizavam há meses.

In a small town near Lyon in France, a composer had been touched by the tragedy of the great earthquake in Japan, and begins to compose one music. In Brazil, flowering cherry tree at the beginning of winter in Petropolis - historic city in the mountainous region of the state of Rio de Janeiro, inspires a duo of filmmakers to portray the flower symbol of Japan in a tribute to the Japanese people, something they idealized months ago.

Dos dois lados do Atlântico eles trabalharam ao mesmo tempo, com o mesmo propósito, cada qual em sua arte, mas sem que um soubesse do outro. Isso até o dia em que o compositor resolve mandar para os cineastas a sua composição. Desse encontro nasce a história do clip "Flower of Japan", produção da Televisual Filmes com música do pianista e compositor francês Sylvain Guinet.

Of the two sides of the Atlantic, they worked at the same time, for the same purpose, each in his own art, but no one knew what about the other's work. That is until the day when the composer decides to send his composition for the filmmakers. This meeting was born the story of the clip "Flower of Japan," a the production of Televisual Films with music by pianist and composer French, Sylvain Guinet.

Sobre "Flower of Japan", Sylvain Guinet explica de onde veio a inspiração. "Escrevi esta música durante o desastre do Japão. Porém, eu não acho que seja um tema triste, pois procurei expressar a esperança e a força deste país que tem o poder de superar as maiores adversidades. Um País exemplar. A melodia é basicamente romântica. Espero que apreciem".

About "Flower of Japan," Sylvain Guinet explains where the inspiration came. "I wrote this song during the disaster in Japan, however, I do not think it's a sad theme because I tried to express the hope and the strength of this country that has the power to overcome the greatest adversity. A country example. The melody is basically romantic. I hope you all enjoy".

"A florada da cerejeira representa uma perfeita analogia da contribuição do indivíduo para a sua coletividade, algo que é marcante no povo japonês. Ao longe, admiramos aquelas árvores lindas, com uma profusão de cachos coloridos. Quanto mais nos aproximamos, percebemos que o efeito é o resultado da união harmônica de centenas de pequenas e frágeis flores", explica Heber Lobato Jr. que ao lado de Marcelo Filgueiras comanda a Televisual FIlmes.

"The flowering cherry tree is a perfect analogy of the individual's contribution to their community, something that is remarkable in the Japanese people. In the distance, we all admire those beautiful trees, with a profusion of colorful bunches. But the closer we get, we find that the effect is the result of the harmonious union of hundreds of small and fragile flowers, "says Heber Lobato Jr. who, along with Marcelo Filgueiras, directs the Televisual Films company.
