Was living down in Huntington Beach (17832 Carranza Ln) in the summer of 1973 when I pulled into my driveway (driving my '72 Duster) and heard Jesse Colin Young's "Mornin' Sun" for the very first time. Of course as it turned out I had heard him before but had no idea he was a member of the Youngbloods back "in the day." It's been 38 years and I still love this song and "Song Bird" by Jesse. Man, there was some great music back when life was good, and simple!! Eh??

this has been one of my favorite songs for over 30 years and have never learned to play it. love to wake up and play it to start the day...Thanks Jesse We have both lost our hair but not our love of good music
