Windows 8 - Metro Style Glass UI - Start Screen

This is an animation. Made such way like a title animation on television shows. So this has nothing to do with an actual OS. It isn't a screen capture video, it isn't a skin or theme.

These are my ideas that I would put into the new Start Screen of Windows 8.
- Customizable background image
- Layered background and sqaures movement when scrolling through items,
- Scrollbars,
- Livetiles with AERO GLASS,
- Livetiles with changable corner cuts,
- Livetiles with video support,
- Livetile group labels with brand & product logo support (.png),
- Hardware detection notification feedback redesign,
- Rotating circle as hourglass,
- Windows Phone 7 integration, e.g.: you should be able to write and send SMS through Windows 8 with USB/Bluetooth connected WP7,
- Animated CHARMS and right side panels with AERO GLASS,
- etc...

woot, the sim has the same phone as me.

good job, you should submit this as a theme in the windows marketplace...maybe an overlay GUI on top of the standard W8 interface. big thumbs up for innovation.

WOW!! This is how Metro "Start UI" should Flow!! I like this alot, due to the fact that it flows/blend well!!! You kinda missed the idea of Metro but the features you have as for as "eyecandy" entertainment.... You GOT IT ON POINT! If you combine this and Windows 8 Metro... U will have something pretty remarkable! Nice Job!!!

Wow, this is one of the few concepts that actually look very impressive. I love the animations on the live tiles! Changing the tile style though imo is not necessary but is a cool touch. Great work!
