Anne Bancroft was gorgeous, and her reception of Poitier seemed so natural and unaffected, she was clearly thrilled for him to win. Great lady indeed, and two very talented thespians.

  • the greatest black actor off all time.

  • @Isac4real and why the hell not? he was a damn good actor rightfully deserved it, colour isn't important, as a mixed race person I know

  • soooo handsome.

  • @harsh36511 why because there both black u racist fuck

  • cant believe they gave this nigga an oscar

  • Bancrofts glee and Poitiers breathless speech says it all. Hollywood gold.

Bancroft was a beautiful and beautifully understated actress, with that less is more intelligence, and she was (endearingly) awful and painfully shy it seemed at giving interviews- as if she couldnt stand the fawning or understand what all the fuss was about. Maybe someone has a clip of her being interviewed by Terry Wogan who ended up pretty much asking and answering the questions himself. TV gold.

  • @MisterFezMartin

One of the most emotional wins, but Anne Bancroft looked like she was drunk or something at the time.

  • @yellohcards What did Jack Lemmon say after Poitier's win?

  • @masterlee123

    be cool bro...be cool

  • @dreamseeker17 No, she passed away a few years ago. She was married to Mel Brooks.

  • @masterlee123 Seriously! It's 2010. That word is stupid and so are you.
