Elvis at one time was madly in love with Wanda Jackson. Marty Robbins, whom I interviewed in the 1960s for WINA Radio at University Hall in Charlottesville, told me: "Elvis told me the only girl that intimidated him because of her beauty, talent and class was Wanda Jackson. He said the only two records he wore out from repeated use were her versions of "Right or Wrong" and "Making Believe." I never fogot that interview with Marty, especially his surprisng comment regarding Wanda Jackson.

Wanda Jackson is such an icon from her era in music.
Such an awesome voice and her music was so nice
to hear. I too remember my mom listening to these
songs and her country music. I will forever feel that i
was born in the worng era as for music but thanks to
you for sharing i get to relive those days always. . *Country Girl*

This is a woman who would never sell records by using images of sex. Rhianna and Lady Gaga need to learn from ladies like Wanda Jackson.

Wanda and Patsy Cline were two of the greats, male or female entertainers!
