Yankee Hog Butchering, SOUTHERN STYLE (Skinning).wmv

Hey yall, we went to a friends house in ILL to hlep him skin his 3 hogs, we had no way to scald them, but to me I think skinning is harder, but this was the 1st time for me and Serenity to gut, and skin a hog, the cutting the rest of the meat we have done many times, but when we do it with the community the men do the scalding, and scraping the hair off, and do the gutting. But at home Serenity wants to learn all she can so we always let her do it with our close adult supervision. She has taken her gun safety course and passed. And her daddy was right with her when she shot the pig. We did not video that part. Age Restriction under 12 watch wth parent, gutting, skinning, blood, and processing meat....Me and my 12 year old daughter done this together. @TiffToomsen I don't really know, we have been butchering animals so long now, I guess this was our 1st pigs we done on our own...and we skinned our 1st deer this year by our selves...But we have been doing chickens and rabbits for along time now...Thanks
