amazing how Copland 's variations are formal but you can feel the emotion.I love these sounds but they sound like pitches devoid of meaning. WOw. The fourth movements insistence on more movement and its intervals strike home.God ,1947 in that hell of a Stalinist .This is my kind of music!!! Her later sonatas i have on cd but they failed to move me 4 or 5 years ago.Maybe my little doggie of a brain is ready. Wi ll I be able to find wht i typed here 20 years from now.,
