John Frusciante is a fine guitarist. He's got a great sense of phrasing and his chops are solid all the way around. By far my favorite Chili Peppers guitarist. His work on Blood Sugar Sex Magick influenced me a great deal, as this music came out at a time when fusions between black and white styles was just getting started. John Frusciante did his small part to make that happen. A good musician, with a formidable improvisational ability.

All I can say is this. People who disses John and sats he sucks, you know what? You simply don't understad what Johns is about. He is not about technical playing. He just plays what he wants and couldn't care less what people think about it. He is one of those guitarists that can just pick up the guitar and play something incredibly simple but still soo awe inspiring on another level. He feels the music.
