This is a VERY near miss from a meteorite in 2003. The Sun flare happened at exactly the right time to deflect the meteorite away from us sufficiently. Nassim Haremein comments in his lecture that "Somebody was definitely looking out for us that day....." Enjoy!

  • I did mean astronomer then.

  • drinjam, of all the names on YT that has to be the sh@test. "Sh@test" may not even be a real word but it works perfectly to describe your very odd thoughts. And whats this about the all knowing blob??? -Tobin has nothing to do with this video;o)And another thing, the tail of this "meteomit" (on it's original course) was going to have a major gravitational impact on Earth causing tidal waves etc, it was the closest for a long long time.....so put that in your adidas slippers and do the charlston!

  • i'm not an astonomer, amatuer or otherwise, but thanks Blob.

  • I'm not an atstromoner either and even I know that's a comet and sh@t like that happens all the time. I mean come on itisme, it's like you've lost your grip on reality. :-) trust in the all knowing blob. That mans the shizzile......

  • As any astronomer will know, it was a comet, not a meteorite. And close passages to the sun by comets are quite common.
