  • well, if you think that's quick, have you ever seen a CVA? toolswitch in 0.2 seconds! (b60 take about 1,5-2 secs, am i right?) you can barely see the switch, all off a sudden it's just the next tool.. insane. and its pure mechanics, just like these.

  • @EthanElohim Index Gmbh designed and build Her turnlathes with toolswitch of 1 sec on machines of serie B,C30+. The actual strength of the machine is assured by the thickness of the single parts, by the quality of seasoned cast iron and steel, by the excellent mechanical parts, especially about spindle, by the whole-oil bath lubrication.

  • Nice video! We make copper screws with ours... I know how much of a hassle it is to setup cause my boss would yell and throw things accross the shop... lol

  • I used to work on GB65 and GB30 cnc 9 axis.

Also went to their factory for training Good machines

  • B60 takes 1 second to index it's the same as the B42 only the 60 has a bigger 2-3/8" (with outside feeding attachment) spindle. They are just a pain in the ass to work on and slower than molases compared to a B&S. The machine is solidly built don't get me wrong it just works and holds great size once running. They are just a pain in the ass to set up. Plus you can't use B&S cams or tooling on them. Everything is special, and if you need a repair part it's 6 months lead time for it.

  • i used to work on b60 autos, really quick machines!

  • i have the same machine and is a great german lathe.
