I run a small succesful agency. I find work for a number of people who are honest and reliable. I pay them as much as I can, charge the client as little as I can, and make a small profit. I pay my contractors each week, but don't get paid by the client for three months.

From what I have seen, I wouldn't employ you if you were the last twat on god's earth. Try changing your foul mouthed 'world owes me a living' attitude and you might make it further than a cleaner. Moron.

1. Have you ever thought to ask why after one day you were let go? Possibly your work performance was sub-standard?

2. Next time you see a job advertised, call first and ask if its an actual job and if your resume is a direct match, if not, dont waste your time travelling there

3. Agencies dont charge 15 per hour and give you 5, on a 5hr job they charge around 7, the extra 2 covers payroll taxes and admin costs

4. Some agencies are shite, do your research and find the good ones

You sound like a nice guy who just needs a break. Recruitment agencies are businesses but they should put that aside and concentrate on finding you a job. I think in the first instance it's probably better if you don't aim for something as challenging as cleaner. We all need to start somewhere. May I recommend Learn Direct? I realise your English is quite good but nothing wrong with polishing those skills every now and then. Best of luck genius.

Ok so by the sounds of it you got done by some bad agencies, just iike every industry we have companies out purely to make a quick buck, some advice, dont blindly register for every agency that offers a job do some reasearch on the agency, talk to your consultant, if they are half descent they should talk to you and be a CONSULTANT if they are unable don't work with them.

Like all jobs you have to have an interview for an agency job. Not everyone who applies is going to get the job. Are you really that thick?

Agencies do not benefit by just getting you on their books (you dont pay them anything). The companies pay them to find the right people and the reason they do this is so that their HR departments dont have to waster their time interviewing people that are lazy, have bad attitude and think the world owes them a living .... people like errrm YOU

Agencies would not pay £5.00 per hour and charge £15.00. To pay £5.00 to you would cost the agency £5.00 plus holiday pay (about 12.07%) plus Employers National Insurance (13.8%) plus there fee (80p 0 120p per hour).

If you went on a long term temp job and were told that there was no work after one day, chances are the company you were sent to told the agency that you were not wanted back (for whatever reason). Did you do a good job? If you did then you would probably have been kept on!

If you people spent more time doing something positive and less time complaining, you might actually be employable. Jeez, I thought the video was very amusing and as a recruiter, I can see the funny side, but people are getting so vitriolic! Successful people see barriers and find a way to get over them rather than moaning and blaming everyone else.
