Lightning Bolt and Streamers Slow Motion Freeze Frame

The pictures are actually video frames of a lightning strike. In the 3rd frame you can see a purplish color streamer reaching from the ground to the clouds. A "streamer" is a positive charge that emanates from a point on the earth's surface that can connect with a " step leader". A "step leader" is a negative charge that emanates from the clouds. When a negative charged step leader connects with a positive charged streamer a conductive path between the clouds and earth is completed creating a lightning bolt. The lightning strike can be seen in real time on my other video, its at 1:40.

Thanks ! The camera I had, was just a cheap-oooo Cannon it was recording at 22 frames a second, (I figured that out later) . Right after that bolt ...... I went inside !!!

Sorry Betsonfernando1...But I don't see the comparison between the two bolts. I think Troyoffroad was correct. Thanks for the cool video Troy! I've had some pretty close calls in my day, Three to be exact. I almost ''Rode The Lightning'' :(

Sorry, but it isn't a positive streamer... It's a ghost lightning, generated to the camera. You can see that the "positive streamer" has the same shape than main lightning. It's ghost, sorry.
