Lyte Burly vs Maoshan

because i am someone who likes to test myself. i have no beef with the young brother at all. i repect him for being down at that park and recording himself weather he gets his ass kicked or not. i know guys 220 and 6'2 that have never fought a man that size in thier life but they talk shit!!! let them fight people in thier group! im one that can set it up. much repect to lyte no matter what he does in the future.

Young broter lyte is like 40 yeas old I hear. You host fighting events why don't you try to get your sensei to host a maoshan vs lyte rematch. maoshan would like to fight lyte again from what he post. so why not set it up. I still feel lyte is a garbage fighter and i have fighters in my boxing gym that be happy to prove it.

@TheBoxerfighter lyte.s age is not really what i care about. what i do know is that he is about 5'6 and 155. inspite of that, he spars people who are not pre screened first! no matter what age people are, most people tend to need to know who they are facing. now, clearly the match up sould be as even in age and size as possible, but once that is done, hey, it's all gravy! if burly is 40 and the size i mentioned, im sure he would "move" with them. if they r 20, they should fight 20!

it is a different thing to fight no person inparticular! it is much different, trust me. a tournament, a title match with someone that you don't know! think about that. i am 48 and i fight contact karate with 20-50 year olds. how many people are willing to fight in thier own age and weight with strangers? win, lose or draw burly does that. all the talk of how much garbage he is is not proven to him by those who say it. i plan on doing some sparring with him one day. not out of hate,but ...

well get luck in trying to spar with lyte. me and a few of my guys went down to the park to where he claims to train and he was nowhere to be find.

let me say this: when a man fights a selected few people he can go undefeated and make a name for himself with ease! as i have said before, at 48 i still compete in contact tournaments and i have no idea who will be there! i don't know and i don't care! it is not about winning every contest. it is about knowing that whatever i do is good anough to win more than i lose. i read people who talk about what they can do but the people they address are always "certain" people!

Now that will be a hell of a fight. If both Men use they styles in the cage. I cant chatter for Sensei Mo But I m familiar with Novell and witness him sparring in the ring and cage getting ready for this fight, the brother can throw down for real and use his style of Bagua when sparring . He has very good movement when he fights and damn good hands and kicks. I cant wait to see this fight on the 18th in N.J ringside..lol

Hahaha. I tell you guys lyte burly would not last one round in the ring against a beginner boxer. The guy is a joke and claims to be some kind of jail house fighter. I met lyte he a straight up punk that sells smoke downtown Manhattan, the guy truly trash! I think this guy Maoshan should get a rematch.

@k1k2d3j4 learn it the right way because to do that means getting your butt kicked until you learn to kick butt. in the ghetto schools, rent was low enough for a working teacher to pay it so if students did not come back after a hard training day, so what. today bills have to get paid so karate is tailored to the "soft" paying student. that's why most schools have maybe 3 decent (not even good) fighters tops. pass that on. i think people need to know. take care and if you train, do it for life.

@k1k2d3j4 aki, if you go to or look up elwyn hall on the tube you will see a brother from britain who was one of the hardest fighters in hard contact karate. he made a dvd called in the heat of battle showing the real world application of shotokan karate. let me tell you what happened with traditional karate: 1) most teachers have never fought themselves.2) insurance is so high, to teach it the right way would likely raise it3) most people, at least in the "burbs" don't have it in them to ..
