The Czech Folk Dancers of West perform a dance choreographed to Brave Combo's version of "Down At The Friendly Tavern" during the band's set at West Fest in West, Texas.
Most of these folks' ancestors arrived in Texas in the 1880's fleeing the absolutist reign of Franz Josef I von Habsburg-Lothringen. "Hapsburg" is the common English (mis)spelling of his name.
I don't speak Czech, but many of these young people still do, even after 130+ years. I play clarinet on the music to which they're dancing though.
These folks's ancestors came to "Krasna Amerika" about the 1860's. They lost a revolution against the Hapsburgs and the Austro-Hungarian empire, and had to leave rather quickly. Some of them (not many) still speak a 19th C. version of the language.
What you see here is an old traditional dance that they just invented ;)

Yes there allegedly are some small towns in Texas where they are still speaking some Moravian dialect from the 19. century.

Austro-Hungary had been established in 1867 (Ausgleich) and it's Habsburgs (originally they came from Switzerland).
