A Revolution Betrayed (Iran)

Clip from a british documentary recorded not long after the Iranian revolution. It shows some cases of arbitrary arrests and trials of people being accused of drug-abuse, homosexual relations etc. Thousands of citizens were tortured and executed for years after the takeover by the mullahs, far exceeding the number of executions ordered by the former Shah.

All I wish is that Islam would figure itself out one way or another? Islam is 650 years younger than Christianity. Christians 600 years ago and before did some bad things too, but had a religious reformation. Islam has not. It needs to. Muslims must speak out PUBLICLY all over the world and tell others that some forms of Islam like Shia, is evil. Non-Muslims don't know this and it is why all are considered radical by most. Why do you not campaign to let this be known?

@rrussell39 The mesage of christianity and Islam is from same GOD and supposed to be the same but as u have mentioned the reformation of religion which meant changing laws of religion and different versions of bible by people in power e.g Kings James Version.....any way ISLAM and Qurans teachings cannot be reformed its not like any of the previous religions .......

If the leaders of a Country are corrupt its nothing to do with wot religion they belong to...the corruption should be erradicated
