@MsJennah1976 Assalamualaikum. For memorizing, I believe in reading the verse ten times, after which you close your eyes and try to remember the verse. You repeat this exercise until you memorize the verse/surah.

As for your 2-year-old, let her 'jump' on you. She probably want to join you in prayer. Buy a praying outfit for her and she will join you. inshaAllah.

For your 'terror', let her jump on you when you pray, ignore. She probably just want to pray with you. buy her an outfit so she can join you.

@MsJennah1976 I'm glad you liked it. Perhaps you can take advantage during times when she is napping or ask your husband to give you 5-10 minutes to do your prayer without having to worry about her. I have a good friend who stays up an hour or so after fajr to work on her memorization because it is one of the only times throughout her day that she has with some quiet time to reflect and work. InshAllah that may help. Also, ask Allah to make it easy for you :)

Alhamduillah! Thank you so much! I am a newbie :-) and I struggle with prayer so it has been one of my goals to establish regular prayer. So I am greatful to have been linked to this. Do u have any recommendations as far as memorizing and struggling with prayer due to 2yr olds? Mine is a terror! She jumps on me,lol.
