Kid Yawns as Governor Describes Crown Jewel

Calling the Kentucky Horse Park the Jewel in the Crown of the Commonwealth, Kentucky Governor Steven L. Beshear, opens the new $45 million indoor arena on July 15, 2009.

But it doesn't impress the kid on horseback who yawns over the Governor's right shoulder during the speech.

The kid must have been really tired from a restless night without good sleep, anticipating his appearance at the Horse Park with the Governor because he also yawned during the First Lady's speech.

The sexy Governor, who many fans liken to Dynasty's John Forsythe, explains his support for the signature industry of the state as Commissioner of Agriculture, Richie Farmer, Finance Cabinet Secretary Jonathan Miller, and other Cabinet members along with the First Lady and Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry watch.

Governor, Steven L. Beshear, invites the world to the Horse Capital of the World, Lexington, Kentucky, home of the Kentucky Horse Park.

With almost $100 million upgrades to accommodate the FEI Alltech World Equestrian Games, Gov. Beshear is beaming with pride.
