The next day was a lot better. Kevin, Joe, Nick, Frankie, Steph and I went to the shops and shopped-till-we-dropped. The guys were massive shoppers, I was in shock. They went into every store...except women clothes of course. Every time they went in, Steph and I would be like "No not again..."
It was soon 6 and we had to go home. On our way back, Joe made Kevin drop us off at the beach. I was a little worried that we could get in trouble but Joe assured me that it was fine. Kevin drove off with the others while Joe and I walked around on the beach.
"How are we getting back?" I asked.
"I'll call Kevin back later"
"But he will have to make 2 trips. Thats not fair"
"Then how do you suppose we go back?"
"We could walk, that way, I could stay longer with you" I looked up and gave him a smile. He smiled back and pulled me closer to him. He kissed my forehead and we continue walking along the beach.
It started getting dark so we found a spot to sit down.
"Sam I have something to tell you"
"Yup?"
"Well this is probably going to hurt you but if I dont tell you now, it'll hurt even more later."
I didnt like where this was going.
"You see...you know we have fans in Sydney right?"
"Yeah...."
"Well theyve called us to do one more concert"
"well.." I choked. It was better than having them leave to go back to America.
"I guess thats alright"
"Thats not the worst..."
"What is?"
"Well we have a tight schedule back at home, and our fans are demanding us back..." he trailed off.
"Yeah?"
"So after our concert we'll be going back home.."
I sat there in shock. I spoke to soon...well thought to soon. I felt tears swell up in my eyes.
"Sam I'm so sorry."
I didnt know what to say. So I sat there. My tummy spoke for me though. I was really hungry.
"Sam?"
"Please dont leave" I whispered.
"I'm so sorry"
He hugged me tightly and didnt let go until my tummy growled again.
"Sounds like your hungry...come, we'll get something to eat."
We walked slowly to the fish n chips shop. While I got the fish n chips, Joe called Kevin to come and pick us up.
I ate rather quickly, and it was really dark by now. Joe and I werent talking much because either I was drinking Coke, or eating chips.
Kevin arrived half and hour later. It was quiet in the car. None of us spoke, and I think Joe told Kevin that I knew they were leaving.
"We'll be back soon" he said. I didnt say anything. I knew Kevin was trying to make me feel better.
We got home and Steph and Frankie were asleep. Everyone knew, and everyone were quiet. It was really weird.
Joe took me upstairs to talk.
"Sam, please cheer up. I dont wanna leave you when you're sad"
"I know"
"And I promise we'll be back really soon"
I thought that I really should cheer up a bit.
"Well I'll see you a lot on TV then" I gave him a warm smile.
He leaned in.
"I promise, I will make it up to you"
Then we kissed.
