I was building a pool and suddenly this worm like thing appeard infront of me I only toomanyitems mod.I havent seen this creature anywhere.

that my friend, is a silverfish. they dont spawn at night, they only spawn in these new generated dungeons call strongholds. if you destroy a block in a stronghold, you'll have a change of a silverfish poping out. also (this is good to note even for players who know what silverfish's are) if you punch one, another one will pop out of a block i believe within a 10 block radius.
