  • I so appreciate everyones support and words of kindness, thanks to each of you. June 10th will be 90 days since Oliver left but it still feels like yesterday. I am currently working on another PDD video, this one titled "PDD Faces". I will, of course, include my Maggie and Oliver but I am also including pictures and stories of other bird owners who have been/currently are where I am. Keep watching here for my next chapter.

  • Amy, This is Amy J from incrediparrots. I was just sent this video. I am so sorry for your loss and didn't know that your babies had and have PDD. I will keep your beautiful babies in my prayers and thoughts.

    Lots of Love,

    Amy J

  • Thank you.

  • I'm sooo very sorry for your loss.... I haven't lost a bird to PDD, but I feel the love for my guys every day, and watching them suffer is the hardest thing I could ever imagine... I'll keep you and Maggie in my prayers. Bee

  • Thank you.

  • My grey (sam) has just been diagnosed with pdd its destroyed our world we just dont know what to do.

My thanks to the fantastic vet yohana at bradford many thanks.

  • Any... what a beautiful video dedication to Oliver. It made me swell up in tears as I watched. The 1st vet we took Reo to came up with PDD diagnois because they could not determine any other cause, the 2nd vet ruled out PDD, said he was either seizures or she was going to drop an egg any day. Today, she is back to her normal self... Thank God!!! I wish the best for you and Maggie... Miracles do happen. Feather hugs, Jan

  • Amy,

I watched your video alot when my military was suffering from PDD I lost her last October and could not bear to watch this again til today.

    How is Maggie doing?

  • Amy I cry each time I watch this and I make myself watch it out of respect for you and the babies. Wing hugs and beak kisses..

    Love ya,

    Amy J from incredi-parrots

  • I am so deeply touched by your video. Thanks for supporting Dr. Ritchie's research. I have been fund raising for him for about 3 years now. Keep the faith.

  • I have lost very dear Moluccan Cockatoo, "Bailey" to PDD 7 years ago. My heart is still broken. My heart goes out to you and to Maggie. Have you researched much on diet? I have another PDD+ cockatoo Rocky, who so far has gotten over all of his symptoms (3 years since his last bout with it) Try the FeedingFeathers news group on Yahoo.

  • Amy, I am so sorry for your loss and I do remember Nathalie's heartbreaking when Wowwie passed away. I really do not know what I would do if any of my birds were to contract this illness. I have not seen much of this here though. My heart goes out to do and Maggie, I hope she is holding on.

    Cris, PERU
