No they didn't. MGM studios sent a notice to the producers, the contents of which has never been released. We can assume though it was a c&d notice given that a later episode following on from this one toned down the references to Bond.

The Producers from Star Trek had to pay a penality of 1.000.000 US Dollars for this episode to Eon Productions Ltd. to sue for damages. So I watch it twice... ;)
