this is shows what a puffstool can do to your pikmin if its purple smoke hits them.
theres 2 puffstools in the distant spring in challenge mode, and it easier to get to than in the forrest navel in story mode, since its right by the landing site.
( and no, this guy is really easy, and i can kill in in 1 flip, but then i wouldn't be able to show the mushroom pikmin. )

There was a glitch that allows you to control Mushroom Pikmin as if they were normal Pikmin, except the regular Pikmin will still attack them. I'm not sure if that glitch works on the Wii version, though.
