How to Fix Xbox Live Connection Problems

Okay so I was kind of wrong you need to forward all of the following ports: * TCP 80 * UDP 88 * Both 3074 * Both 53
When I say both I mean both TCP and UDP there is a both setting on must routers port forwarding setup pages.

Also someone mentioned that enabling the UPNP setting will help as well and he is right you can also enable UPNP on your router.

Side Note:
This video is only designed to fix a problem with connecting to other people on xbox live. Meaning trying to play games with people who it says you can't connect with. It doesn't problem solve connection issues other than that. There are tons of reasons your xbox live connection might not be working.

ho im having problems getting online.I just bought the xbox slim and tried to recover my gamertag.It wouldnt let me do so and told me to test my connection.I followed the prompt and tested my connection.It connected to everything except xbox live.I've been searching the web for more than 2 hours and none of the solutions work.Do you know any way that i could fix my problem.Like i said, i just got the xbox and set it up .It has never let me access xbox live since i turned it on.Please help !!!!!
